Solar-Powered Mill Project

Our 2.5 MW capacity solar power plant implemented at our Gaziantep facility meets 25% of our annual electricity needs, reducing our carbon emissions by 1,800 tons per year. Our project, which optimally utilizes the facility area with rooftop and ground-mounted solar panels, is one of the largest investments in renewable energy use in the sector. The project has an 8-year payback period and will provide significant cost advantages for the next 17 years.

Zero Waste Mill Transformation

The Zero Waste program we implemented at our Konya facility enabled 98% of waste to be recycled or reused. With the evaluation of bran in animal feed production, recycling of packaging waste, and composting of organic waste, we prevented the storage of 3,200 tons of waste annually. The project amortized its cost in 3 years with the economic benefit obtained.

Water Recovery System

The advanced water recovery system we installed at our Mersin facility enabled 70% of water used in grain washing and tempering processes to be treated and reused. The project, which optimizes water use with ultrasonic sensors and automatic control systems, provided water savings and cost advantages. Environmental impact was minimized by reducing wastewater discharge.
