Village-Level Agricultural Technology Projects
Rural development projects involving village-level agricultural technology demonstrate commitment to agricultural advancement. These initiatives typically involve manufacturing and delivery of village-type seed cleaning units, with systems designed according to specific needs:
- Selectors for small settlements with specific hourly capacities
- Selectors for larger villages with higher hourly capacities
Through such projects:

- Farmers’ ability to clean and improve their own local seeds is strengthened

During the 1970-1980 period, regional production was still carried out using traditional methods with manual processes. TANIS modernized these challenging and inefficient processes by starting to produce Turkey’s first closed, automatically fed processing machines.
This technological breakthrough resulted in:
- Approximately 500 machines shipped nationwide over ten years
- Pioneering the transformation of the industry, particularly in Southeast Anatolia
- Modernization in a strategic food area
- Introduction of high hygiene, capacity, and work safety to the sector
This technology became a turning point in industrial production.
The beginning of Turkey’s modernization story in the milling sector represents the historical foundation of the industry. The first roller mill came as German-origin equipment imported by renowned business figures. During this historical process:
- Installation components were brought from Germany with engineering support
- All construction and assembly work was completed with local craftsmanship
- Local craftsmen gained recognition and were included in the assembly process
- Meticulous work spanning several months resulted in successful commissioning
Following this process, subsequent roller mills were also brought from Europe, with family craftsmen personally taking part in the assembly processes. These efforts played a critical role in laying the foundations of what would later become major industrial enterprises. This contribution during the process represents cornerstones of both industrial heritage and engineering culture.
TANIS began modern roller mill production in 1987, showing rapid expansion domestically. During this process:
- Initial installations were carried out in various provinces of Turkey
- Expansion continued with compact chassis systems
- These systems stood out with fast installation, low space requirements, and suitable investment costs for that period
- TANIS was positioned as a strong player in the domestic market
Today, modernization, parts replacement, and capacity increase demands are still received for these systems; some old installations are renewed with new generation solutions and brought back into production.
In modernization projects carried out throughout Turkey, we offer energy efficiency and sustainability-focused solutions. In this context:
