International Knowledge Sharing at IAOM Training Forums (2021-Ongoing)

At regional training forums organized by IAOM (International Association of Operative Millers), we proudly represented Turkey with our technical presentations in countries such as Zambia, Rwanda, Indonesia, and Saudi Arabia. Integrated Wheat and Corn Mill Facility in South Sudan (2020-2023)
We built the country’s largest flour and corn processing complex in the city of Jua, South Sudan, for Prestige Millers company. A special system was designed where both wheat and corn could be processed on separate lines under the same roof. The project, which began in 2020, was successfully delivered in 2023 with gradual developments. The facility has an integrated structure with a 100-ton per hour corn drying unit, packaging lines ranging from 1-50 kg for different packaging types, 15,000-ton raw material storage area, and the capability to simultaneously produce wheat flour, semolina, bran along with corn flour, semolina, and bran. This structure has become a success story that serves as an example not only in South Sudan but throughout the African continent.
Corn Flour and Semolina Quality Improvement Project in Gaziantep (2024-2025)
We provided technological transformation as TANIS in the quality improvement project of Değirmenci Tarım company, which operates in Gaziantep Organized Industrial Zone and has a daily corn grinding capacity of 500 tons. Within the scope of the project, our Sorton color sorter, new generation corn husker, and high-efficiency vertical degerminator machines were gradually put into operation. With this transformation, the oil ratio, which was at 1.2-1.5 levels in previous horizontal systems, was reduced to the 0.5-0.8% range. At the same time, capacity per machine increased from 3 tons to 5 tons. The color sorter reduced the black spot ratio in the final product, while our husker and degerminator machines significantly increased product purity and quality standards. This case is an example of how quality and capacity can be improved together through on-site engineering solutions and customer cooperation.
Export and Internationalization Successes
TANIS’s First Export: Legume Sifting Systems to Syria (1980)
TANIS entered the international market with its first export in 1980. For a total value of 80,000 USD to Syria, 5 legume cleaning and sorting sieves, each with 8 compartments, were produced and shipped with 5 trucks to the Damascus, Deir ez-Zor, Aleppo, and Homs regions. On-site installation and commissioning work was carried out by TANIS engineers, enabling the systems to become operational in a short time. This first export became the starting point of TANIS’s quality, engineering, and trust-based export vision and formed the foundation for its global successes in subsequent years.
